This project will provide 11 specialist Part M4(3) compliant apartments alongside communal and staff spaces allowing the residents to live independently, in a safe and supported environment.
This new residential development on the site of former St Bernadette’s church, on Mather Avenue in Allerton was conceived 10 years ago by a group of like-minded family carers. This project will ensure residents have access to quality supported housing, with a reputable landlord, and appropriate support in place to enable them to live happy and fulfilled lives now, and in the future when their parents are no longer able to care for them.
This flagship project and proposals are the result of a unique collaboration between Liverpool City Council Adult Social Care team, Care Housing Association Ltd, The Regenda Group and the Roman Catholic Archdiocese Of Liverpool. The project team was selected by the families, and they have remained heavily involved throughout the design process.
