Completed in September 2009, the development comprises of 21 apartments for the Port Sunlight Village Trust on a former industrial site. The scheme stands amongst some fine Grade II Listed accommodation and was developed following much consultation with English Heritage and the Local Planning Department with an empathy and a duty of care to the heritage of the village.
The scheme is the first in Port Sunlight to introduce sustainable products in its construction such as whole house heating and ventilation (MVHR). It was also short listed for ‘Best Housing Development 6 -25 Units’ at the Brick Awards 2010
Port Sunlight Village Trust has been working with the Paddock Johnson Partnership since 1999. We have a number of diverse needs because all our properties are Grade II listed and fall within a conservation area. In addition we have a large number of vulnerable and elderly tenants. The Paddock Johnson Partnership has assisted us with significant conversion works and programmes of major repair, refurbishment and new build schemes. We have found their services to be not only of high professional standard but they have also taken account of our particular situation and ensured that our tenants have received sympathetic consideration during these works.
